- Several AAA systems use Mauser cannons that use the same ammunition as the
- GAU-8A. The Greek Artemis is one. Also, there was an etry in the US Army's
- DIVAD aka Sgt York competition that used a GAU-8A. The 40mm DIVAD won because
- it's ammunition had proximity fuses even though it hit less targets than the
