- Why anyone thinks that hitting med/high altitude fast moving aircraft

- ambitious project that didn't quite payoff (although the rumor mill
- had it the Colonel left holding the bag actually got the sucker to
- work more or less...when the project head slot goes from being a two
- star to a colonel you know that it's on its way out no matter what

- You might also remember that DIVAD (Sgt York) has a different mission
- than the Vulcan...as the divisional air defence platform it's supposed
- to hit all thouse things that the smaller platforms couldn't. It was
- supposed to complement the Patriot as a cheaper (per shot) weapon.

- Nope...what a late 60's early 70's vintage vehicle? The M113 family
- may not be very hot on the performance end but there sure are a lot of
- variants and vehicles out there...not to mention dirt cheap prices.
