  12. WRT the recent discussion about whether or not schizophrenia was a
  13. real disease or not - there was a Frontline (on PBS) the other night
  14. about Schizophrenia.  They interviewed several schizophrenics.  One of
  15. the things discussed on the show was a twin study at NIMH on schizophrenics
  16. where one twin has it and the other doesn't.  The NIMH people claimed
  17. there was a clear brain difference on MRI between the sick twin and
  18. the healthy twin.  They also claimed the difference was there from birth.
  19. It was also pretty clear these people were not just "eccentric."   It
  20. was a balanced presentation, they also discussed some of the more dubious
  21. treatments, past & present, for schizophrenia.  Perhaps Gary Merril and
  22. whoever else is skeptical might want to see if they can get a copy of the
  23. show...
