  30. Has she tried Accutane?  I did, about 5 years ago (I was about 30),
  31. and my skin has been nearly flawless since.  It's still oily, but only
  32. breaks out when I'm under major stress for an extended period.  (And
  33. even then, the lesions clear up fast.)  My acne was never severe, but
  34. even high doses of antibiotics never cleared it up completely.
  35. Retin-A didn't help much either.

  37. I've known a number of people who tried it, and it worked for all of
  38. them (OK, one guy did have to go through it twice).  It seems to work
  39. better the worse your acne is, interestingly.

  41. It's a pretty fierce drug and can have significant side effects, but
  42. by golly, it works!
