  11. This is a wee bit off the subject--but...when I had my baby two months ago,
  12. my OB was female.  Although I had a horrific experience with pregnancy 
  13. complications and a csection, etc., I think in some ways I had a 
  14. 'traditional' birth in the sense that it was all females taking care
  15. of me, except for brief appearances by the anesthesiologists.  I
  16. felt completely comfortable in the awkward and vulnerable positions
  17. I was in, and with being naked for periods of time.  It was wonderful
  18. to be surrounded by women at that time.  I have nothing but complete
  19. admiration and respect for the group of female OBs, who between them have
  20. 12 kids of their own, and manage their busy practices.
