- I'm interested in this information as well, and will be following
- this thread. I can't comment on the clinical use of EGF in stroke, but
- some very recent findings suggest that there is a population of
- cells in the CNS of adult mammals (mice) that is capable of neurogenesis
- (de novo production of neurons) upon stimulation by EGF. The initial
- report was the cover story in the 27 March 1992 issue of Science.
