- I've never heard of "macular Drusen" before, but I'm a neurologist, not
- an ophthalmologist. The only Drusen I know about (and the only kind
- mentioned in Glaser's Neuro-opthalmology) are hyaline bodies of the
- optic nerve head. These may occasionally cause visual field problems
- but are more often asymptomatic. They are inherited, following an
- autosomal dominant pattern.
