  16. I recently learned that I had significant osteoporosis in my foot and
  17. lower leg, due to an advanced case of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.

  19. I understand that it will eventually become "diffuse" rather than
  20. "spotty".

  22. What I would like to know are the possible final outcomes of the 
  23. condition (osteoporosis).
  24.  
  25. In other words, does it reach a stage where, after it becomes diffuse,
  26. no further degeneration of the bone occurs, or do the bones continue
  27. to degenerate until they are no longer solid?
