- I'm no doctor, but from my observation
- vaccination seems to have all but eliminated TB,
- at least in Europe,
- and where it has re-appeared
- this has invariably been because of a fall-off in vaccination.

- Incidentally, I spent a year in various TB sanatoria,
- and don't recall ever hearing of a single case
- of a doctor or nurse contracting the disease,
- although many of them took few if any precautions.
- Very few patients were sputum-positive, in any case.
