  16. A few weeks ago, a friend told me that his girlfriend (who lives with
  17. him) had been diagnosed with "borderline tuberculosis."

  19. First, I've never heard of anyone being "borderline" with this disease.
  20. Is that possible?

  22. Second, since he told me this, I've been hesitant to visit them.  I'm
  23. running out of excuses why I can't come over.  Is it as contagious as
  24. I think it is.  Am I being overly cautious by not visiting there?

  27. guest.  I'm having second thoughts about attending it because of them.
