- Just a minor quibble here. The number of doctors making less than
- $120K will equal the number making more only if $120K is also the median
- income. The number on either side of the average depends on the distribution.
- When J. Paul Getty lived in Santa Monica (I believe it was), for example, the
- average income for the town residents was far in excess of the typical income.
