  24.    You've probably got some extra stuff in the par file that confuses
  25. Mandella. Try deleting everything but the parameters. If it still doesn't
  26. work email me a copy of the file and I'll find out what the problem is.

  28.    I did some work on the par file support for version 8.2 (uploaded not
  29. too long ago). The changes make par files much easier to deal with. For
  30. example, when a par file is opened the user is presented with a scrolling
  31. list so he can choose the one he wants to use. Then the Next File command
  32. changes to Next Preset so the user can get the next fractal with one
  33. keystroke. Also, a comment enclosed in braces is allowed at the beginning
  34. of the file. (I'll change this in the next version. Apparently Fractint
  35. treats any line starting with a semi-colon as a comment, so I'll use
  36. that instead).
