- In practice all sorts of transport system develop along established
- corridors accessing urban centres anyway. Armadale was established
- here in the very early days as a general store and stopover along the
- track to farms further south. *All* of the development since then has
- merely added and/or extended the range of options available to people
- as technology and economy makes them available, including the three
- major supermarkets and Action Food Barn now located here people visit
- by car, and the urban light rail terminus.

- On the other hand, if the opportunity is there to design a city from
- the ground up all sorts of possibilities can be negotiated. I am a
- consultant to a fully integrated Greenhouse Village project here, but
- while it is great on paper, I doubt it will finally be built and make
- my reasons known within the context of my discussion papers on its
- feasibility.
