- Actually, the wealthy will do it too, if they're allowed to, and with
- far less justification. The only individual I know personally who ever
- knowingly killed an member of an endangered species was a disgustingly
- rich trust-fund airhead (and close personal friend of the Bush family,
- incidentally).

- Of course, if your point is merely that it would be a good thing if
- people now starving had full bellies instead, I agree. Indeed, I suppose
- nearly everyone would agree, except perhaps for some Dr. Pangloss of the
- Chicago School who thinks that if people are starving it must be their
- own fault, or that it's necessary for some people to starve (on the margin)
- in order to maintain the Best Possible World of market equilibrium.
