  18. Thats not right either. At least some, and I suspect all, of the relevant
  19. subspecies have extensive ranges outside the Tongass.

  21. This doesn't mean these animals should not be conserved. Indeed, I gather
  22. from one of Jim Hurst's postings the Forestry Service is required by
  23. law to do this.  A report from their own biologists indicating they are
  24. not doing this is presumably very embarassing.
