  14. Great ideas, all of them.  But they are still just band aid solutions
  15. to the real dilemma:  too many people putting too great a stress on a
  16. planet with a finite amount of resources.  When we can come up with a
  17. real solution for curbing the current population growth we will ease
  18. the increasing strain on our fragile environment as well as alleviate
  19. many other ills facing society today (e.g. crime, poverty, education).  
  20. This seems to be too big an issue for any country, let alone politician, 
  21. to handle but one which will sooner or later need to be dealt with.
