- It's cast in stone. If you are serious about being a civil servant, become a
- U.S. citizen. There are some projects for which foreign national employees
- of contractors are not permitted to sit in federally owned _buildings_ on
- unrelated tasks, let alone be on the projects. I am unfamiliar with the
- particulars of the laws regarding the visas, though, so I do not recognize
- your status (ie, whether you have an academic/study visa or one of the work-
- type visas).
