- I know of several chemical engineers who started their own environmental
- consulting firms. In the U.S., environmental concerns are a BIG issue and
- chemcical engineers are the people best equipped to deal with the by-products
- and left over hazardous wastes that occur in any chemical process. This is a
- BIG feather in the cap of chemical engineering in general.
