  10. Well, being the typical starving musician, I will again resort to the 
  11. DIY route...

  13. Can anybody please point me towards a schematic for a fast strobe?
  14. The idea of this thing is for a microphone to be placed in some
  15. crevice of the drum set, whereupon when the right thing is whacked
  16. the strobe will fire.  Thus, the power supply needs to be able to 
  17. supply enough power to fire the strobe fairly quickly.. I guess 10Hz 
  18. would be a reasonable ceiling.
