- The voltage rating of a fuse does factor into the fuse's circuit
- opening characteristics. I just happen to have a package of
- LITTLEFUSE 3AG 2A 312 fuses here on my desk. They are single link
- tubular glass cartridge fuses of the type one would find in a radio
- receiver or computer power supply. The barrels are marked "2A
- 250V." The package notes: "SC 10,000A 125 VAC 100A 250 VAC."
-
- I checked my catalog for 3AG type fuses. There's no mention of the
- overload characteristics for 3AG; only, "fast acting." For 3AB,
- which are ceramic barrel, the characteristics are blow time of
- 110%, 4 hour maximum; 135%, 1 hour maximum; 200%, 15 second
- maximum.
