- Just thought I'd mention that I once saw a diagram of a bus in limited
- use in Europe that uses a flywheel as secondary storage. The flywheel
- is accelerated during braking, and its momentum is used to accelerate the
- vehicle when it resumes travel. I believe that the primary fuel was
- hydrogen or LPG. The flywheel arrangement was employed to reduce fuel
- consumption.
