-
- This is from the Microprocessors Unlimited Catalog. UP Ultd is in Beggs OK and
- advertises in BYTE, PC Week and other magazines. The Dynamic ram prices are
- quotes from Worldwide Technologies. They too advertise in BYTE.
-
- Type Price Price/Meg
- Real Static 128K x 8 (70 ns) $23.00 $184.00
- Psuedo Static 512K x 8 (80 ns) $27.00 $54.00
- Dynamic 1M x 9 (70 ns) (9 chip) $37.00 $37.00
- Dynamic 1M x 9 (70 ns) (3 chip) $35.00 $35.00
-
- So as you can see Psuedo static is much closer in price to dynamic than
- statics but is closer to statics in packaging (32 pin DIP x 8 organization
- instead of a SIMM), and ease of use (no externall controller required).
