- I have some pretty basic questions about EEPROM programming on the 6811.
-
- I have the technical data book on the 'E2, but it talks about programming
- the EEPROM as if you already have the ability to execute code on the 6811.
- How do you actually go about programming the EEPROM? Do you need to use
- the bootloader to load a program that downloads code and programs it into
- EEPROM? If so, are there already some programs available as freeware to do
- this?
-
- What about hardware setup for the programming? Obviously you need to
- provide a serial connection to the SCI on the 6811. Does it come up with a
- particular set of com parameters?
-
- Could I use the Miniboard and some downloading software for the PC to
- program similar parts such as the 'A1 (only 512 bytes EEPROM)? B.G. Micro
- has the 68HC11A1FN for $5.95. Seems like a good price. Motorola's books
- say it has EEPROM (I thought EEPROM parts had 811 in the number).
-
- Thanks in advance.
