  23. According to the unofficial biography "Disney's World" by Leonard
  24. Mosley, soon after his death the company announced that Disney had been
  25. cremated and was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale,
  26. CA.

  28. The "Walt is frozen" rumors stemmed from a number of coincidences:

  30.     - The graveness of Walt's illness was kept a secret from
  31.       everyone except family and a few close friends
  32.  
  33.     - Walt was obsessed with his dreams for EPCOT, and was convinced 
  34.       that the project would die or be mangled after his death [and today's
  35.       EPCOT is surely not the "Experimental Prototype Community" that Walt
  36.       envisioned]

  38.     - Some close colleagues have said that Walt was fascinated with
  39.       cryogenesis in the months before his death, and his two ace
  40.       EPCOT researchers, Marv Davis and General William Potter,
  41.       had been collecting reports on cryonics as part of their
  42.       secret EPCOT work for Walt

  44.     - There was no funeral, and the announcement of his death 
  45.       was delayed and very brief.

  47. Of course, many argue that the scheduling of the announcement had more to
  48. do with the company's fears about stock market reaction than it did
  49. with any secret plans to preserve Walt.
