  13.      Several months ago I saw an article in PEOPLE magazine
  14. about a graduate student, deciphering a cryptic Greek
  15. painting.  He/She figured out the figures represented letters
  16. of the Greek alphabet -- A "rebus".  I think there was
  17. something like that in the Satyricon.
  18.      If anyone has any information about this PEOPLE piece,
  19. the scholar who was the subject, or any published form in
  20. which this or similar items might be found, I would
  21. appreciate hearing about it.
