- Daily conjunction ephemerides for the period: Monday, 1993 Jan. 18 - 25, 0 h UT
- (Universal Time). The conjunctions are sorted by Right Ascension. Due to e-mail
- problems the posting of the five different ephemerides has to be made on three
- days. Only every fifth issue of these different ephemerides detailed
- explanations are given alternately!

- The name is the same as in the ephemerides, but a littlebit shorter. 'JDate' is
- the Julian Date yymmdd for the anomaly M in degrees. 'Halfax.' is the great
- half axis a in astronomical units. 'Eccentr e' is the eccentricity of the
- orbit. 'Perihel', 'Node' and 'Inclin.' are these three orbit angles in degrees.
- H is the magnitude of the object in 1 A.U. from the sun and the earth, G is the
- factor in the calculation of the objects brightness, which is too complicate to
- list here (see textbooks). These orbital element list is only for an overview,
- which orbit I used. For well-known objects the accuracy of the published
- original elements may be some digits better than given here. Please note, that
- for conjunctions and encounters sometimes also cometary orbital elements before
- the minor planets orbital elements are given. Those cometary elements are given
- in the cometary and not in asteroidal element format. Especially note, that not
- q, but a is given!
-
- These ephemerides should promote the observing of conjunctions.
-
- These ephemerides were computed by a program of Jost Jahn with an Atari ST
- computer.
