- I was tempted as well. The ad copy states "Limited Time Offer", so I
- called the same day that the catalog arrived. I was told that they
- would not offer the Televue Panoptic at that price, because "All the
- eyepieces at that price had been sold already". It is of course very
- reasonable for them to offer a limited stock at a sale price, but this
- isn't what the printed copy stated, and I was left with a lingering
- scent of weasel in the air. What they did have left at the 20% discount
- were a few Plossls and Wide Fields.
