  13. You didn't mention if the tank were plastic or glass.
  14. However, that doesn't make much difference, you must have
  15. a flat surface to place any tank. If it is glass, most likely
  16. a seal will break over time, if plastic, the tank may warp over time.

  18. All tanks I purchased have the guarantee voided if the tank isn't 
  19. on a flat surface. On the glass tanks, you shouldn't be able to push
  20. an index card under any part of the bottom.
