  32. The stringyness makes me think that maybe the fish has a fungus infection.
  33. I can only speak from experience with fresh water fish.  When they had fungus
  34. infections (usually on the mouth or fins), I tried Mardel's Maroxy with no
  35. effect.  What worked was some tablets called FungusCure that discolored the
  36. water a lot, but worked.  I think it's made by Aquarium Products.  I'm not
  37. sure if it works for saltwater.  I've read about treating freshwater fungus
  38. infections with saltwater baths and copper.  Does anyone know if a freshwater
  39. bath would help with this?  Is the fish in full strength seawater (I know it`s
  40. found in the brackish waters of the Chesapeake Bay)?
