- In his "Biscuit Joiner Handbook", Hugh Foster claims that microwaving
- biscuits to dry them out makes them more brittle.

- He says that after microwaving he was able to snap a biscuit in his
- fingers, which he wasn't able to do before. Now, I've been able to snap
- biscuits fresh out of the box (they snap easily if you bend them along
- the grain), and the book is about the worst woodworking book I own, so
- perhaps there's nothing to this.
