  66.    Bill, although I have no experience with your model of bandsaw your 
  67.    bowing problem is a pretty universal one.  It is usually related 
  68.    to blade tension.  Insufficient tension will allow the blade to bow
  69.    or will give you harmonic flutter in the cut.  The other problem may be
  70.    the blade, you didn't mention the blade thickness or tooth design.

  72.    I would start by tensioning up the blade considerably and see what

  76. Duginski sez: most hobbyist bandsaws are not capable of tensioning a 3/4"
  77. or larger blade.  The largest I am able to use on my 14" Delta without some
  78. bowing is 1/2".  I do however, achieve good results with that.

  80. As to the blade not cutting in line with the fence, each blade cuts at a
  81. specific angle for a given setup.  Most fences have at least some adjustment
  82. to compensate for this.  The fence on mine did not have enough...  I built
  83. a 6 inch high micro-adjusting fence for use in resawing and ripping.

  85. I highly recommend Duginski's book: "The Bandsaw Handbook" (or something
  86. close?).  Every time I run into a problem with my saw, he has a solution
  87. described.
