- Hi there, I just thought you might be interested in trying Danish
- Oil. My father just finished making a solid walnut Pembroke Table with
- laburnam crossbanding, which he used danish oil. I like the finish a lot,
- it is slightly matt but doesn't alter the colour of the wood. It is also a
- very good sealant which is important for walnut because woodworm love the
- sweatness of it. (it has a lot of sugar in it).
- I suggest you try it out on a test piece, the other thing is you
- will have to apply it many times to achieve the desired result, but this
- gives you the fun of caring for the furniture for the rest of your life !
