- Although I am, in general, a power tool junkie, this is one time
- where I pull out ye old plane. My method is to flatten the ends out as
- best I can with the hand plane. When I have it fairly even, I run it over
- my poor-man's jointer (i.e. a router). This seems to work well and gives
- me a good edge over the entire length of the board.
