- I am going on a caribbean cruize for the first time and will be
- going to many islands. I would like to get some windsurfing in while
- at a few islands. Does anyone know if you really have enough time
- to do that on a cruise? At each port we stop for about
- 10 hours. If anyone has been to the ports please let me know
- if the wind is good and where to go and where to rent equipment.

- our itinerary: Aruba -- 9hrs
- La Guira -- 8 hrs
- Grenada -- 7 hrs
- Barbados -- 10 hrs
- St. Lucia -- 10 hrs
- Martinique -- 10 hrs
- St. Maartin -- 10 hrs
- St. Thomas -- 12 hrs

- We sail from Jan 8 to Jan 18.

- I am a low level intermediate (I guess). Can do beach starts,
- 20% of my water starts, Gybes in light winds, use the harness all
- the time, and am back at the footstraps but not in them. I sail
- on a transition board. Unfortunatly, I only sailed about
- 3 times last year so I'm a little rusty.
-
- Please post to the news group as our email is broken.

- Thanks for any tips!!!

- P.S. My boyfriend is also going. He is pretty much a beginer --
- can do some beach starts and is starting to use the harness.
