  13. I am considering the purchase of a Sony LD player, and would like to
  14. call upon the collective net-wisdom to either confirm this notion or
  15. warn me off.  Specifically, I'm considering the MDP-455 model.  Does
  16. anyone have any experience with this?

  18. I am also open to any other suggestions/recommendations in the $400-$600
  19. price range, and would like to hear opinions about likely mail order
  20. choices.
