- I'm totally new to this group and have a very basic question which I'm sure
- must have been beaten to death in this group before. If someone could point me
- the way to the FAQ, I'd really appreciate it, but until then....
-
- I've heard that SVHS quality is better than normal VHS. Why ? What are its
- specs ? How does it do it ? Is resolution doubled (i.e. 800+ lines instead of
- the 480+) ? Is it still interleaved ?
-
- What about HDTV ? What is its resolution ?
-
- Is there some comparative chart for the specs for normal TV, SVHS and HDTV ?
- And what about the comparison between NTSC, PAL and SECAM ?
-
- As you can tell, I'm really looking for a TV primer here...
-
- Thanks in advance for all replies....pleeeease reply....it is Xmas :-)
