  18. In trying this procedure myself over the weekend, I ended up with a lot of flicker
  19. on the video copy of the movie.  I single-stepped the video copy in the VCR and
  20. noticed that the frames alternated a little lighter and darker.  I'm wondering if
  21. this fluctuation is due to the auto-exposure system in the camcorder responding
  22. to the "movie" flicker action of the projector? (Unfortunately there is no manual
  23. exposure on my RCA CC507 camcorder).

  25. I did have the movie projector about three feet from the screen and the camcorder
  26. about two feet from the screen.  Would the flicker be reduced if I projected the film
  27. maybe 20 feet to the screen and captured the image on the camcorder from there.
