- hi,
-
- thanks for all the suggestions for reducing the dust getting into my
- combi-player. and it seems that the cd lense cleaning disks are a
- no-no!!
-
- but is there a better way to remove the dust that's already resident
- inside the machine?? as i've stated before, i've been using a jet
- of compressed air directed at where i imagine the pickup should be.
- the 3030 is a combi-player which is pre alpha turn mechanism, so i
- don't foresee any situations where the dust might be released due to
- gravity. should i just wait til the problem gets extremely severe and
- bring it in for repair?? other than the dust problem, the 3030 has been
- extremely robust. i haven't seen any of the problems that seem to hit
- the newer machines. of course, if someone were to give me a cld-95 for
- free, i wouldn't complain.
-
- thanks much,
- and reply via email
- (i'm on travel a lot and news items expire before i read them)
