- Hi/Fi does not exclude S-VHS. On the other hand it's not likely that you'd
- find a S-VHS VCR without Hi/Fi. S-VHS machines are coming down in price a lot
- in the last couple of years, and I see them in almost all video stores around
- here ranging from around $500 to $3000. It's certainly no problem getting
- them mailorder.

- No, not according to the numerous articles on this subject in this group.
- S-VHS is comparable in quality (but is no better, IMO) to Hi8. That's from
- personal experience.
