- Have anyone make comparison about the video quality of
- similarly priced Pioneer combi players & karaoke machines
- like the CLD 720 or 820; the ads about these machines are
- always very different. While the combi players always talked
- about TBC, aspherical lens, S/N ratio, lines resolutions, karaoke
- machines from Pioneer never give these specs. I am looking
- for a karaoke machine that has high quality video (425 lines,
- s-VHS). For other makers of karaoke machines, I often see
- signal to noise ratios of ~ 40 - 50 dB, quite a bit lower than
- a good combi.
