- Hi All,
-
- I just purchased A CCD-TR81 camcorder but I have a question about the EDIT
- switch. What exactly does this beast do. The owners manual said that when
- you have the camcorder's output connected to another VCR's inputs and you
- wish to edit onto the VCR you must have this switch in the EDIT ON position.
- But it goes on to state that if you are copying from the camcorder to the
- VCR but not editing to leave it off. What's the difference? When you are
- editing you are really copying a portion from the camcorder to the VCR. Can
- someone please explain this to me. Reply by email please.
-
- Thanks in advance,
