- There is no good SVHS camcorder now being offered, unless you are ready
- to get into a large professional dockable unit or the upcoming JVC X2
- integrated professional unit. There are several consumer-level models
- from Panasonic and Hitachi. Panasonic is bringing out the AG-455, an
- update to the date AG-450 design. In my opinion the AG-455 has more
- bells and whistles, but the specs are not very impressive.

- event producers. The value-priced offerings in SVHS just aren't there.
