  16. The last time we renewed ours, we did this.  We certified the mail
  17. (although I don't know that this will have affected the timing).  We
  18. dropped the applications and our old passports into the mail on
  19. Monday evening and had the new ones back on Wednesday afternoon.
  20. Yes, the same week.  (It was at the end of March, 1991.  We had been
  21. told to allow six weeks, and were not rushed.)
