  20. guide to Northern California lists the Del Monte Beach Inn
  21. (1925 restored inn, about $45-$60 in 1990), 408 649-4410;
  22. the Jabberwock (1911 post-Victorian, $90-$165), 408
  23. 372-4777; and the Old Monterey Inn (1929 Tudor country
  24. house and cottage, $140-$195), 408 375-8284.
