- Steve, when I was there, one of the places my party stayed at we chose
- specifically because it had hot water, which was rare on the Caribbean
- coast. We got up early in the morning to do some snorkling, and when we
- got back, we found that there was no water. I took a shower by standing in
- the rain. It's pretty warm, even when its pouring rain. A raincoat
- of some sort makes sense, but I agree you may be overdoing it with a goretex
- jacket and pants, especially if you want to travel light.
