- Folks:
- My wife, and I will be stopping over at Bangkok for about 3-4
- days with our 4 month old daughter in late January. We are looking for
- places to stay that are clean and comfortable, and preferably in a
- "nice" locality. I have the Lonely Planet guide to Bangkok and they
- list several establishments in the $40 - $60 range (1000 - 1500 Baht)
- per night. Can anybody who has been there recently recommend a good
- hotel? The main areas listed in the Lonely Planet guide are:
- Banglamphu
- Chinatown
- Silom and Surawong Rd.
- Siam Square
- Pratunam
- Sukhamvit Rd and
- Victory Monument
- Are any of the above places better than the rest?
-
- If anyone has visited Thailand with an infant recently, we would
- greatly appreciate advice/tips. Our main concern is avoiding
- infections etc. Also, advice on places to see and things to do are
- welcome. Many thanks,
-
- Prabhu
