  14.     My wife, and I will be stopping over at Bangkok for about 3-4
  15. days with our 4 month old daughter in late January.  We are looking for
  16. places to stay that are clean and comfortable, and preferably in a
  17. "nice" locality.  I have the Lonely Planet guide to Bangkok and they
  18. list several establishments in the $40 - $60 range (1000 - 1500 Baht)
  19. per night.  Can anybody who has been there recently recommend a good
  20. hotel?  The main areas listed in the Lonely Planet guide are:
  21.         Banglamphu
  22.         Chinatown
  23.         Silom and Surawong Rd.
  24.         Siam Square
  25.         Pratunam
  26.         Sukhamvit Rd and
  27.         Victory Monument
  28.     Are any of the above places better than the rest?

  30.     If anyone has visited Thailand with an infant recently, we would
  31. greatly appreciate advice/tips.  Our main concern is avoiding
  32. infections etc.  Also, advice on places to see and things to do are
