  11. I'll be in Sydney for about 4 days from Jan 20-24, 1993.  Any
  12. suggestions for must-sees, etc.  I will have read tour-book type
  13. literature, so I'm especially interested in "non-touristy" things.

  15. Some specific questions:

  17. 1. Car rental seems expensive, but I'm willing to go for it if it will
  18.    add significantly to getting the most out of the trip.  Advise?
  19. 2. Is there such a thing as local cuisine that's sufficiently distinctive
  20.    that it's worth trying?  Does one eat kangaroo meat--if so, where
  21.    would be a good place for it?
  22.  
  23. Basically, ANY tips, experiences or suggestions would be welcomed.
