  11. While visiting Amsterdam in Apr91, I stayed at a place called THE SHELTER. 
  12. Its one of the cheapest I could get (US$8 per night - don't know if the 
  13. figure is still valid). The place is excatly what its name suggest, all it
  14. does is to prvide a shelter. No frills.

  16. The place is a dorm-style accomodation with about 50 beds in a room (a hall
  17. rather). Its pretty "international" with Japanese, Hispanics, African, East
  18. Asians, Chinese, etc. all under one roof. Its a good place to stay if you're
  19. about to write a thesis on THE SLEEPING HABITS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER or 101 TYPES
  20. of FOOT ODOUR.
