- Reminds me of a story told me over the Christmas break by a family friend.
- He has a friend that buys top of the line skis. Then, first thing, before
- mounting the bindings, he hauls out an old can of ugly brown paint and a
- brush, and completely paints the ski tops this putrid color, disfiguring
- them for life, but of course not affecting the performance at all. Then
- he never worries about ski thieves.
