- I am looking for a new pair of backcountry touring/telemarking boots.
- They will be used primarily for touring, with some lift served skiing,
- on a pair of old Elan REs. I am looking for a boot a bit stiffer than the
- one I now use, and the Snowdrift felt good in the shop, but it seemed to
- be too stiff in the sole, ie I'm not convinced I could get a good kick
- from it. The sales geek said it would soften up, but quite frankly,
- I don't trust him.
-
- Can anyone confirm (or deny) the suitability of this boot for what I want to
- do?
-
- Thanks.
